Beyond the Threshold of Relaxation
In the heart of Livigno, surrounded by alpine forests and breathtaking views, Alpen Resort stands as a point of reference for those seeking both an active and rejuvenating holiday.
As part of the BIVIOLife network, the resort offers hospitality that blends comfort, energy, and nature.
Today, the property features a wellness area designed to provide a complete sensory experience: with an infinity pool, aufguss rituals, and themed environments, wellbeing takes center stage.
THE PROJECT
The wellness & pool area of Alpen Resort is an immersive, multisensory environment where design and functionality come together to offer wellbeing for every kind of guest.
Over 3,000 square meters spread across two levels host an iconic panoramic infinity pool with transparent acrylic walls, suspended on a terrace overlooking the mountains.
Framing it all is a comprehensive wellness journey that includes a panoramic sauna for aufguss rituals, a Finnish sauna made of thermo-treated wood, a steam bath, Roman sauna, emotional showers, an icefall, and a large themed relaxation area divided into three elements: Air, Water, and Fire.

“Collaborating on this project was an exciting challenge. The core idea was to create a wellness space capable of speaking to different audiences—athletes, families, and relaxation lovers—without compromising on quality. The pool, awarded with the Italian Pool Award, is a symbol of this: sustainable, technically advanced, and thrilling to experience. Every decision was made to optimize energy consumption and enhance the user experience, thanks to true teamwork between designers, companies, and local craftsmen.”
Diego Gabrielli, Sanae CEO
“The goal was clear: to create a system of spaces that could meet a variety of needs without losing a unified identity. The result is an environment that engages every guest—some seek energy, others tranquility, and others still, connection. Our strength lay in having a shared vision and working with partners who interpreted it with both precision and passion.”
Daniele Gerlin, Marketing and Event Manager at BIVIOLife Livigno
