Panoramic wellness and alpine atmosphere: the new spa at Le Sort Mountain Retreat

Le Sort Mountain Retreat, a historic residence in the heart of Passo del Tonale, represents a perfect balance between alpine tradition and contemporary comfort. Recently renovated, the complex now features 40 apartments designed to offer guests an experience of skiing, energy and fun just steps from the slopes. Always a reference point for winter and summer stays, the property has expanded its offer with a new panoramic wellness & pool area, created in the attic as a space dedicated to post-ski recovery and relaxation. An intervention that enhances the residence’s privileged location, offering open views of the mountains and a dynamic, shared wellness experience designed for families, athletes and mountain lovers.

THE PROJECT

The new spa was created with the aim of developing a complete wellness area in a previously non-existent space, obtained from the glass-enclosed attic on the top floor of the building. The design focused on bright, panoramic and welcoming spaces in constant dialogue with the alpine landscape, capable of offering a contemporary and shared relaxation experience.

The wellness & pool area includes an outdoor pool with relaxation area and social lounge overlooking the mountains, a natural fir Finnish sauna and a thermally treated fir bio sauna, a steam bath and emotional showers with ice feature and regenerating path.

Special attention was given to families, with a pool dedicated to children. The entire project combines functionality, comfort and formal simplicity, creating a relaxed yet dynamic atmosphere perfectly integrated with the identity of the residence.
